Famed Argentine flutist, Claudio Barile, works with talented Bay Area flutists and wind quintets on standard repertoire as well as orchestra excerpts. Musicians and music lovers alike are encouraged to attend this special event.

In January 1978 I was "the kid Claudio student flute (great musician!) of Rulio-
I played then in 1978 and 17 years later for Astor Piazzolla at his house in Paris.I played for him an a cappella concert of Jacques Ibert,
Aram Kachaturian, Johann Sebastian Bach Sonata in E minor, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. Piazzolla was impressed with my playing. He asked if I would bring toys from Paris to give to his grandson who lived in Buenos Aires. I said yes, of course.
